This hands-on (computers provided) workshop will provide information on using QuickBooks software for the beginner using the program for his/her business bookkeeping. Those wanting to register for this workshop should already have basic bookkeeping knowledge. Pre-payment and pre-registration is required.

This hands-on (computers provided) workshop will provide information on inventory, sales tax, orders, billing, budgeting, and business planning. Those wanting to attend this workshop should have either taken the Beginning QuickBooks workshop or be familiar with and have used QuickBooks software. Pre-payment and pre-registration is required.

How many Palmer chamber members have been in business for 30 years? ABC Travel Time celebrates 30 years in business! Its Palmer branch is located at 234 W. Evergreen, in the colonist historical house across from Palmer City Hall and the Movie Gallery video store. Its staff of three professional travel agents is managed by Jeanne Lentz, CTC (certified travel consultant) who has been employed with ABC Travel Time for 26 years this fall. Owner, Cindy Bettine, also a CTC founded the company April 1978 as a branch of All Ways Travel and purchased the agency the following year and had a “name the agency” contest, which resulted in ABC Travel Time. Open House set for May 14
Take a moment – or 3 minutes, to be exact – to let other members know what you have to offer on May 14, at the Mat-Su CVB/Visitor Information Center open house. Starting at 5 p.m., every Mat-Su CVB member will have a 3-minute spotlight on their business. It’s a great way to you to make valuable contacts and generate referrals! Refreshments – including VIC manager Lorraine Jallen’s world famous root beer floats – will be served. Get creative with your announcements to create a memorable impression on others! Giveaways should be dropped off soon
If you have any goodies to be included in gift bags for attendees of the Alaska State Democratic Convention, they need to be dropped off by April 30. There are expected to be 800 delegates attending the conference, and the Democratic Party of Alaska said it would be willing to include any items from our members.
